Nate O’Grady

Founder and President

When Nate was young, he learned many valuable things while working aside his Dad every day in the family landscape business. That’s when he decided he would devote the rest of his career to being the best landscaper he could be.

Kasey

Kasey Lofgren

Lead Designer and Installer

Kasey returned to Northern Michigan from Chicago in 2018 and quickly put his eye for design to work alongside his brother, Nate. As the creative force behind the company’s designs, Kasey is responsible for all landscape design concepts and CAD drawings, transforming ideas into detailed, build-ready plans. He also leads hardscape projects in the field, where his natural problem-solving and “puzzle-building” skills shine. Now transitioning into estimating for hardscape projects, Kasey brings his full-circle expertise in concept, design, installation, and budgeting. Outside of work, Kasey enjoys spending time on the golf course, where he’s always up for a good round.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is hardscaping?

Hardscaping refers to the built, non-living parts of your landscape, like paver patios, walkways, stone walls, and outdoor kitchens.

How long do hardscaping projects take?

It depends on what we’re building. However, most installs take a few days to a few weeks depending on their complexity and local weather conditions.

Will my new paver patio survive the winter?

Yes. We build with freeze-thaw cycles in mind and use the right base and drainage techniques to prevent heaving, shifting, or frost wedging.

Can you install lighting with my hardscape?

Absolutely. We offer full design-build services, including lighting and planting, so everything works together.
